CommunityEvents.ca is a free service designed to assist non-profit groups in publicizing their events, programs and organization information. The Calendar exists to improve regional communication between the public and non-profit groups, through an easily accessible medium.
CommunityEvents.ca is not designed for private use, and any information submitted to the site should be open to, and of interest to the general public, and relevant to this region.
Fraudulent entries, or submissions containing profanity or discriminatory messages are not acceptable and will be removed. The administrator reserves the right to revoke a group's login privileges, and remove them from the system if it is determined that they are using the site for personal, fraudulent or discriminatory reasons.
CommunityEvents.ca is a public domain, and information entered about events or programs, as well as any contact numbers, emails or addresses will be viewable by the general public.
Maintenance of and changes to a group's entries are the responsibility of that group - user ID's and passwords should not be given out.
Upon registering a non-profit group, its members, associates and representatives waive any claim against all sponsors, members and parties associated with the CommunityEvents.ca for any misuse of information, damages, harm, loss or inconvenience that may result directly or indirectly from use of the CommunityEvents.ca site.
By accepting this waiver, the group - including its members, associates and representatives - acknowledge they are fully aware of the risks involved with use of this site and accept sole responsibility for such risks, and agree to abide by the rules of this system.
By virtue of registering a group on CommunityEvents.ca the group accepts this waiver in its entirety.
